On the web this photograph looks like a traditional photo, and a nice one at that. But in person it has a painterly quality that is produced by using a process that Jack Ramsdale calls "the digital equivalent of Ansel Adams zone printing." I suggest going by and seeing this and the other work at Salt Art Gallery on 3rd Street near Race in Old City.
