I met Cavin Jones a couple of years ago and at that time he told me about this incredible project he was working on. Recently we talked again and he's still at it. He has been working on murals at the Walter Palmer Leadership and Learning Partners Charter School at 6th and Poplar Streets in Philadelphia. But this isn't your typical mural with one large scale image. He has completed 230 individual portraits, each measuring approximately 36x52 inches and isn't finished yet. You get an idea from the photo above of the scope of the project, but to get the full effect you would need to see the work in person. Click on the top image to see more.
