Inspiration – Enzo Cucchi

I remember envying people who lived in NY during the Mary Boone Europen era of the 80's. I was living on the West Coast at the time and so I had to do my best at catching up when I visited. Of course it's completely impossible to catch up as I found out when I moved to NY in 1990.

One artist that sticks out in my memory is Enzo Cucchi. I always loved the directness and power of his work and every piece seemed to have an iconic, mythological sense about them.

He has an exhibition at the Macro Museum in Rome that runs through April. Follow this link for all the details. Use this link for translations.
