This work dates back to 2004 and one reason I'm posting these again is that I am amazed at how there are now so many other artists doing similar work. I actually started experimenting with a similar approach in 1997 in oil paint. In 2006 I revisited this approach but this time using texture to create the shimmering effect. Experimentation is important to me so I continue to branch out in different directions using new materials and methods. Visit one of the links on the sidebar to see some of my recent work.
