Paper Monument Gives You Homework
As a preview of their forthcoming pamphlet, the editors of Paper Monument will discuss the art of the art assignment. Topics will include: what makes a good or bad assignment? What's the best or worst one you’ve ever heard of? Should art schools be more instructional or less? Audience participation will be encouraged. After the discussion, there will be a short teach-in: tell your own tales of art education; and if you're in need of direction, they will assign you some homework.
