The idea behind the exhibit is to show the artist's process as well as the final piece. In the two images directly above this caption is a good example of source materials, in this case photography, and the way that was used in the painting.
I 've created a special page with more images from the opening reception here. Scroll down or use the information on the sidebar to get dates, times and other details. Curator, Meredith Alcarese, did a great job of integrating the various process materials and the finished artwork.
The show is being extended to the 18th and there will be a closing reception that same night.
