I knew about this event coming up at the 2424 but was reminded when I came across the images for the show on burstoid. Eileen Tognini curated this exhibition with the work of Jason Hackenwerth, the artists who did the piece above. He will present a huge work that will be suspended from the 3 story tall ceilings in the Sky Box. This space is even larger than the Ice Box at the Crane. The opening will be October 30th from 7 - 10pm.
The image above was found on the burstoid site. And yes, he works with balloons as his material.
